His years of experience in both finance and education allow him to focus on helping clients with a broad range of financial planning needs. He specializes in clarifying financial essentials and retirement options to teachers in the public school systems.

Garrett joined Shepherd Financial as part of the Logan Lavelle Hunt Wealth Management division merger in 2018. Prior to that time, he worked as a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual and a treasury management officer at MainSource Bank.

Garrett attended Indiana University Southeast, where he studied business and played basketball. He is an active member of the community in southern Indiana, serving on the Board of Directors for Communities in Schools Clark County and for Building Development Association Southern Indiana. Garrett and his wife, Melissa, have three beautiful children: McKenzie, Gracelyn, and Gavyn.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
